
Take apple

Peel them

Peel and shred or fine chopped the apple

Put it aside in a bowl add a few lemon juice to prevent enzymatic browning of apple slices mix them
Now, place a non-stick pan over medium flame
Add grated coconut along with sugar

Mix well

Add apple

Add 1 tbsp water so that mixture doesn't get burned

I have also kept the flame on medium level
Keep mixing till the mixture starts coming together

Stirring time to time

Cook it for 8 to 10 minutes, until the apple is nicely cooked

The mixture should tn the consistency of soft dough

Then add crushed cardamom mix well

Add dried fruit and cook it for 3 to 4 minutes

Mix well

Now greased the plate with ghee or oil

Pour the mixture in the plate

Spread the barfi mixture on it using spatula,

Sprinkle the pistachios over it and gently press again

Press the mixture to make it firm

Now let the mixture cool down

And then we need to keep this in refrigerate it for about 4 hours to set the mixture

Then you can cut the mixture into square pieces or desire shape

Now Coconut Apple barfi is ready

Serve it as dessert in serving plate
