Wash chana dal very well under running cold water and drained chana dal.
Chopped lauki.
Take a pressure cooker and add chana dal, lauki , salt , and turmiric powder .
Add water and close it with lid.
Cook it for 7 to 8 whistles . Let the pressure go down and open the cover.
Heat the oil in a pan and add cumin seeds and let them sizzle.
Then add chopped onion and cook till golden brown . Then add crushed green chili , garlic ginger and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
Then add dry spice powders . Mix well and cook for a minute .
Now add this masala to boiled dal - lauki mixture.
Mix well and sprinkle chopped coriander leaves .
