Lauki chana dal recipe (bottle gourd gram pulse)

 200 g Chana dal(gram puls)
 500 g bottle gourd(lauki)
 1 tsp Turmeric powder
 ½ tsp Rred chili powder
 1 tsp Cumin seeds
 1 Onion big size chopped finely
 2 Green chili( crushed )
 5 to 6 Garlic clove (crushed )
 1 stick Ginger( crushed)
 2 tsp Kitchen king masala
 2 tbsp Oil
 Salt to taste
 Coriander leaves chopped finely for garnishing (optional)

Wash chana dal very well under running cold water and drained chana dal.

Chopped lauki.

Take a pressure cooker and add chana dal, lauki , salt , and turmiric powder .

Add water and close it with lid.

Cook it for 7 to 8 whistles . Let the pressure go down and open the cover.

Heat the oil in a pan and add cumin seeds and let them sizzle.

Then add chopped onion and cook till golden brown . Then add crushed green chili , garlic ginger and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.

Then add dry spice powders . Mix well and cook for a minute .

Now add this masala to boiled dal - lauki mixture.

Mix well and sprinkle chopped coriander leaves .
