 150 g Whole green moong dal
 1 tsp Turmeric
 ½ tsp Red kashmiri mirch powder
 1 tsp Kitchen king masala
 1 tsp Meat masala
 1 tsp Cumin seeds
 ½ tsp Hing
 2 tbsp Oil
 1 Onion medium size chopped finely
 ½ tsp green chili (crushed)
 6 Garlic clove (crushed)
 ½ tsp Ginger (crushed)
 Salt to taste
 Coriander leaves chopped finely for garnishing (optional)
 1 Tomato chopped finely (optional)

Wash moong dal very well under running water and drain moong dal

Take a pressure cooker and add whole moong dal , salt and turmeric powder

Add water and close it with lid

Cook it for 7 to 8 whistles . Let the pressure go down and open the cover

Keep a side in a bowl

Heat the oil in a pan and add cumin seeds and let them sizzle

Then add hing , chopped onion and cook tillgolden brown . Then add crushed green chili,garlic,ginger and cook for 2 to 3 minutes

Then add dry spice powder mix well and cook for 2 minutes

Now add this masala to boiled whole green moong dal

Mix well and sprinkle chopped coriander leaves

Served chapati or rice
