Vermicelli or Sevai Kheeras its popularly known in India, is a delicious Indian dessert made with milk and vermicelli strands is often served as a sweet accompaniment in lunch or dinner. Sevai are known & famous throughout the India.

1 l Milk
150 g Sevai (vermicelli)
50 g Sugar
2 tbsp Coconut Powder
10 Cashew nut
½ tsp Cardamom Powder
1 tsp Ghee (Optional)
1 Dry-Roast the Sevai in a Pan(without any oil or ghee) but if you really like ghee, you can also roast it with a little ghee.
2 Pour the milk in a pot and let it boil.
3 Add the roasted Sevai to the boiling milk and let it cook, keep stirring the mixture throughout cooking.
4 Keep Stirring the mixture until the sevai is almost cooked.
5 Take Cardamom powder, Cashew nut along with coconut powder and add it to the Sewai
6 Add Sugar to the Sevai, cook it for 2 more mins and turn off the flame.
7 Serve the sevai warm or cold as per your choice!
