2 Apple (peeled and shredded or fine chopped)
½ Lemon juice (for prevent enzymatic browning of apple slice)
1 cup Sugar (You can increase or reduce the quantity as per your requirement)
1 cup Freshly grated coconut or desiccated
1 tbsp Water
½ tsp Cardamom powder( Crushed cardamom)
½ cup Chopped Mix dried fruit ( Cashew nut, Almond, Walnut )
1 tbsp Sliced Pistachios for garnishing
1Take apple

2Peel them

3Peel and shred or fine chopped the apple

4Put it aside in a bowl add a few lemon juice to prevent enzymatic browning of apple slices mix them
5Now, place a non-stick pan over medium flame
6Add grated coconut along with sugar

7Mix well

8Add apple

9Add 1 tbsp water so that mixture doesn't get burned

10I have also kept the flame on medium level
11Keep mixing till the mixture starts coming together

12Stirring time to time

13Cook it for 8 to 10 minutes, until the apple is nicely cooked

14The mixture should tn the consistency of soft dough

15Then add crushed cardamom mix well

16Add dried fruit and cook it for 3 to 4 minutes

17Mix well

18Now greased the plate with ghee or oil

19Pour the mixture in the plate

20Spread the barfi mixture on it using spatula,

21Sprinkle the pistachios over it and gently press again

22Press the mixture to make it firm

23Now let the mixture cool down

24And then we need to keep this in refrigerate it for about 4 hours to set the mixture

25Then you can cut the mixture into square pieces or desire shape

26Now Coconut Apple barfi is ready

27Serve it as dessert in serving plate
