1 Cup =240 ML
Marination for fish curry
1 kg Fish
1 tbsp Turmer powder
2 tbsp Garlic paste
1 tsp Red chilli powder or as per your taste
Salt to taste
For Fish Curry
1 Medium Onion sliced
4 Medium tomato ripe ( grind)
1 tsp Saunf (fennel seeds) optional
1 tsp Red chilli powder or as per required
1 tbsp Cumin (jeera)
1 tsp Green chilli pest
2 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
1 tbsp Khas khas ,(Poppy seedd) or posta dana
⅔ cup Yellow mustard seeds
¼ cup Coriander seeds
Salt to taste
2 Bay leaf
Mustard oil or any Cooking oil for fish fry
1 tbsp Coriander leaves finely chopped
Water for curry as per your required
1Take any fish, Clean and wash the fish

2Take a bowl add clean fish add turmeric powder, salt

3Add red chilli powder

4Add garlic paste if you want coriander powder add them

5Mix well

6Marinate fish keep aside for 10 minutes

7Heat a pan on a medium flame and roast the coriander seeds, cumin seeds (jeera)

8Add Khas-khas and fennel seeds roasted on medium flame

9Roasted until the mixture turns fragrant or release their aroma

10Keep aside for cooling

11Take a mixer jar add mustard seeds, onion, garlic and roasted all ingredients

12And blend to a smooth or coarse paste to suit your liking

13if you needed add water to bland well
14Heat mustard oil in deep pan

15Add the marinated fish

16Fry one side and when it becomes golden

17Turn over and fry the other side

18Fry it till they are golden brown both side fry them in batches

19Remove the fried fish and place them on kitchen paper to absorb extra oil keep aside

20Now remove the extra oil from the pan and keep 2 tbsp oil it
21Add cumin seeds crackle them add bay leaf

22Add Mustard paste along garlic ginger paste

23After dry roasting for a while add salt , turmeric powder, red chilli powder

24Keep stir on medium flame

25fry until the mixture turns fragrant or release their aroma

26Fry (Bhunna) the paste till it attains reddish brown color and doesn't taste raw

27Fry it till the oil separates

28Add tomato paste to the mixture

29Keep stir it

30Fry it for 4 to 5 minutes

31Fry it till the oil separates

32Add water as per curry, gravy demands

33Mix it and let it Boil the curry (gravy)

34Now add fried fish and dip it as well

35Now simmer in 3 to 4 minutes

36switch off the flame

37Garnish with coriander leaves
38Now fish curry is ready

39Served with rice and roti
