For Koftas
5 Raw bananas
2 tbsp Cornflour
2 tbsp Crushed ginger , garlic or paste
1 tsp Crushed green chilli
1 tsp Black pepper powder
Salt to tast
For Gravy
1 Large onion fine chopped
1 tbsp Garlic crushed
1 tbsp Ginger crushed
2 Medium tomatoes grinned ( pureed ) or as per your required
2 tbsp Coriander powder
1 tbsp Kitchen king masala ( optional )
1 tsp Red chilli powder or according to taste
1 tsp Dry kasuri methi leaves
Oil as per your requirement
1 tsp Garam masala
1 tbsp Turmeric powder
Salt to taste
1 tsp Cumin seeds ( jeera )
1 Bay leaf ( tej patta )
½ tsp Hing ( asefoetida )
2 tbsp Fresh cream
Finely chopped coriander leaves
1Boil the raw banana to 3 whistles . when the bananas are cooked, take it out in a plate and allow it to cool completely.
2Remove the skin from banana

3Mash the banana

4Add cornflour

5Add salt black pepper powder

6Add crushed ginger , garlic, and green chilli

7Add red chilli powder Mix well

8Knead it to from a dough

9Make ( prepare ) the balls from the mixture ( dough )

10In a kadhi heat the oil, and when it is heated properly

11Add the kofta balls

12Fry in medium flame till it turns golden brown

13It will take about 10 mins.

14Take out the kofta balls in absorbent paper .

15Keep aside

17Add cumin seeds bay leaf and hing

18Crackle them

19Add chopped onion

20Fry till it turns brown and leaves the sides

21Add crushed ginger, garlic fry well

22Add all spices and saute it for 3 to 4 minutes

23Add tomato puree

24Cook it till it starts oil leaving the sides

25Add water

26Allow the gravy to boil cover the lid

27When it comes to gravy boil

28Add koftas

29Cook for 2 min on medium flame cover the lid

30Add coriander leaves

31Turn off the flame

32Add fresh cream

33Now Raw Banana kofta curry is ready to serve

34Serve it hot with roti , rice , naan.
