Paneer Paratha Recipe – How to make Delicious paneer paratha –

Paneer Paratha is nothing but Indian bread stuffed with cottage cheese. It is a really delicious and also a great lunch box recipe. You can serve it plain or with curd and pickle.

For paneer stuffing
 250 g crumbled paneer
 ½ tsp Black paper powder
 1 tbsp Garlic crushed
 ½ tsp Green chili crushed
 ½ tsp Ginger crushed
 ½ tsp Chat masala
 1 Onion medium chopped finely
 Salt to taste
For Paratha dough
 2 cups Wheat flour /atta
 1 tbsp Ghee or Oil
 ½ tsp Ajwain
  tsp Kalonji / mangrela (onion seeds)
 1 tsp Hing
 Salt to taste
 Water for kneading the dough

Firstly in a mixing bowl take crumbled paneer

Then mix all the ingredients mentioned under for stuffing section

Mix well all ingredients bind the stuffing

Divide the stuffing into equal portions

Now prepare dough for paratha

Take a bowl and add Wheat flour , hing, ajwain, kalonji , salt and oil or ghee

Mix well then add water knead smooth and soft dough (like chapati dough)

Divide the dough into equal portions

Pick a blob of kneaded atta and roll it into a sphere with your palms. Press and flatten it into a disk of about 2 inch diameter and make a depression in it with your fingers

Press some of the paneer filling into the depression

Bring the edges of the dough around and seal the edges at the top , flattening the stuff dough gently

Roll out the paratha in gentle, even strokes into a disk 5 inch in diameter

Heat a flat non stick tava and cook the paratha

Using a little ghee or oil untill golden brown spots on both the side

Serve immediately with fresh curds or sauce
