Lauki ka Raita – Bottleguard Raita – Yogurt with lauki – Tasty Lauki Reecipe

Lauki ka raita is a wonderful nutritious side dish .Lauki is knownby various names ,like Ghia, Bottle gourd ,kaddu. People especilly children do not like to eat is a vegetable but i am sure they will definitely like lauki ka raira.Lauki ka raita is prepared by boild lauki with yogurt and mustard powderand pinch of chat masala.

 500 g Lauki (bottle gourd)
 3 cups Yogurt
 ½ tsp Rred chili powder
 2 tbsp Mustard powder
 1 tsp Black salt
 Gnger(crushed)
 2 Green chili (crushe
 1 tbsp Mustard oil
 Salt to test
  Chatmasla (optional)

Peel and cut the lauki. boil lauki in a pressure cooker with a little salt till two Whistles.

Drain out water and let the lauki cool add crushed ginger and green chili.

Add boil lauki chili powder , mustard powder ,black salt ,and crushed ginger and green chili and plain salt.

Add yogurt and mix well.

Add mustard oil and sprinkled (chatmasala optional).
